The journey starts in Picturesque Canadian Rockies town of Jasper, Alberta. Enjoy some of the most breathtaking and varied rail scenery. Travel past stunning lakes, through the coastal rainforest and the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon into the vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Immerse yourself in the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver, with a visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain.
Fly to Calgary. On arrival Calgary International Airport you will be welcomed and transferred to hotel The Westin Calgary.
After breakfast, depart Calgary via the Trans-Canada Highway into the scenic foothills of the Canadian Rockies. Visit Sulphur Mountain and Bow Falls along the way. Enjoy a ride on the Banff Gondola with panoramic views from the summit, including a stroll along the boardwalk and 360° observation deck. Later, check in at Fox Hotel and Suites for an overnight stay.
After breakfast the morning is free for your leisure. This afternoon sightseeing tour will take you to the 'Jewel of the Canadian Rockies', Lake Louise and the world-renowned Moraine Lake. This trip will leave a lasting impression of your holiday to the Rockies. Accompanied by our interpretive guides you will be able to capture the magic of these two pristine settings.
Following breakfast, we will then proceed to travel along the beautiful Icefields Parkway, passing some amazing peaks and glaciers, stopping at Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, and Peyto Lake (and more!) before we arrive at the Columbia Icefield to take a ride on the Ice Explorer. Continue the journey to Jasper with photo stops at Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls. Arrive and check in at The Crimson Hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a 4-hour guided tour of Jasper’s natural beauty. Visit the dramatic Maligne Canyon, walk along its edge, and cross scenic bridges. Continue to Medicine Lake for beautiful views of the Colin and Queen Elizabeth ranges, then head to Maligne Lake for a great view of the glaciers and famous Spirit Island. Watch for local wildlife, including moose, deer, bears, and eagles. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay at The Crimson Hotel – Jasper.
Travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer to Quesnel. Highlights include the Rocky Mountain Trench, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass, Moose Lake and the Fraser River. Overnight in Quesnel.
Your journey continues south to Whistler. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Overnight in Whistler.
This afternoon return to Vancouver on Rocky Mountaineer. Highlights include the Cheakamus Canyon, Mount Garibaldi, Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains. On arrival, you will be transferred to hotel Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre.
After breakfast, cross the Lions Gate Bridge to Vancouver’s North Shore. Visit Capilano Suspension Bridge, above the Capilano River. Explore the Cliffwalk and Treetops Adventure through the forest canopy. Continue to Grouse Mountain, “The Peak of Vancouver,” and ride the Skyride for panoramic views of the city, Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and surrounding snow-capped peaks.
After breakfast, we leave for City tour of Vancouver. Make the most of your time in beautiful Vancouver with a 4-hour tour of the city’s highlights. Your driver will escort your group to popular attractions such as Stanley Park Granville Island, Chinatown and Gastown. You’ll view totem poles, wander through food stalls and craft galleries, and get great city views from lookouts like Prospect Point.
After breakfast, explore one of Canada’s most beautiful cities on this full-day tour of Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Stroll along flower-lined paths, discover the many themed gardens and admire the remarkable landscaping.
