UK – CUSCO

Fly to Cusco

On arrival, check in at hotel Casa Andina Premium Cusco. The afternoon is free for your own leisure and other activities.

Day 3
CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO (B/D)

Experience a full-day tour through Peru's Sacred Valley, a vital region for Inca settlements. Begin with a visit to Pisac Towns market, known for its high-quality handicrafts. Continue to Ollantaytambo to explore its impressive Inca fortress, featuring steep staircases, a temple with niches, massive monoliths, and ancient structures believed to be a military school or prison. After lunch, head to Chinchero, a picturesque town built on Inca foundations from the late 1400s. Day 4
CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO (B/D)

Start the day early with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, followed by a short bus transfer to the iconic Machu Picchu—a must-see for anyone planning holidays to Peru. Explore this legendary Inca citadel—believed to have been an estate for Emperor Pachacutec—with a guided tour that reveals its fascinating history. Spend the morning discovering the ruins, then enjoy free time to explore the site at your own pace. By 4:00 PM, begin the return journey by train to Cusco, concluding a memorable day at one of Peru’s most remarkable archaeological treasures.

Day 5
CUSCO (B/D)

After breakfast, kick off your historical Cusco tour with a visit to the San Pedro market, which at an altitude of 3,400m, is one of the highest in the world. Talk about starting the morning on top of the world! On this day tour from Cusco Peru, you'll visit key Incan highlights to experience Cusco at the grassroots level. Start at the vibrant San Pedro local market. Then head out of town to explore two major Inca sites, Sacsayhuaman and Q'enqo. Practice your language skills and bargain for snacks. Visit the amazing Sacsayhuaman & Q'enqo and enjoy beautiful views over Cusco. Descend back to Cusco, exploring charming Inca streets.

Day 6
CUSCO – PUNO (B/L/D)

After an early breakfast, transfer to the station to board the luxurious Andean Explorer train – a highlight of any Peru tour, departing Cusco at 08:00 hrs for a scenic ten-hour journey to Puno. Enjoy lunch on board while soaking in the stunning Andean landscapes, from mountains to high plains, aboard a train styled after the elegant Pullman cars of the 1920s. With dining cars and an outdoor observatory bar, this journey offers a unique and comfortable way to reach Lake Titicaca. Upon arrival in Puno, transfer to your Hotel Casa Andina Premium Puno.

Day 7
PUNO (B/L/D)

Enjoy a full-day excursion on Lake Titicaca with visits to the floating Uros Islands and Taquile Island. Begin with the Uros Islands, made entirely of totora reeds and home to communities that maintain traditional fishing and handicraft practices. Continue to Taquile Island, known for its beautiful hilltop views and rich textile heritage. The Taquileños, dressed in traditional clothing, preserve ancient customs and Inca laws, offering a unique cultural insight into one of Peru’s oldest living civilisations.

Day 8
PUNO – LIMA (B/D)

After breakfast transfer to Juliaca airport to board your flight to Lima. On arrival, check in at hotel Casa Andina Premium Miraflore.

Day 9
LIMA (B/D)

After breakfast, start on a half-day Colonial and Modern Lima Tour, offering a rich blend of pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern highlights. Visit Huaca Pucllana, a 4th-century ceremonial site once deemed sacred by the Incas, then explore Lima’s historic centre, including Paseo de la República, San Martín Square, and the Government Palace. Stop at the Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva to view Peru’s cultural treasures. LIMA - QUITO (B)

Fly to Quito. On arrival in Quito, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel JW Marriott.

Day 11
QUITO (B)

Colonial City Tour and Middle of the World: Explore the bustling streets and squares of the largest historical old town in the Americas, a multiethnic, artistic and cultural heritage destination. Visit the “Middle of the world” situated at 0º0’0” latitude. It's a perfect cultural complement for travellers also exploring South America’s finest destinations. Day 12
OTAVALO MARKET & SURROUNDINGS (B)

Visit the well-known indigenous market in Otavalo for an arts and crafts shopping adventure. Visit Peguche, known for its weavers; visit a wind instruments workshop; Cotacachi, known for the manufacture of leather goods; and Cuicocha crater lake. Back to Quito.

Day 13
QUITO - SAN CRISTOBAL ISLAND (B/D)

Fly to San Cristobal Island in the Galapagos Islands. On arrival you will be welcomed and transferred to the pier to board the M/V Galapagos Legend. The archipelago is situated at approximately 600 miles off the Ecuadorian mainland, on the Pacific Ocean. Travel time is under 3 hours. San Cristobal is the easternmost island in the Galapagos Archipelago; it's also one of the oldest islands, geologically speaking.

Day 14
ESPANOLA (B/L/D)

AM. Gardner Bay, Gardner & Osborn Islets (Española)
Spot Galapagos hawks, American oystercatchers, Galapagos doves, hood mockingbirds, 3 species of Darwin finches, yellow warblers, lava lizards, and marine iguanas.

PM. Suárez Point (Española)
Explore volcanic formations and riveting wildlife. Besides the sea lion colonies, this is a very important site for bird watching. A major highlight is their mating season, from May through December.

Day 15
FLOREANA (B/L/D)

AM. Post Office (Floreana)
Continue the tradition by placing unstamped postcards inside the barrel which reach their destinations for free. Observe the mockingbird of Galapagos, some species of Darwin’s finches, yellow warblers, and lava lizards.

PM. Cormorant Point (Floreana)
It features endemic plants such as Scalesia villosa, Galapagos daisies, white sand black mangrove, and holy stick. Spot sea turtles, blue-footed boobies and small reef sharks floating along the shoreline in search of food.

Day 16
SANTA CRUZ (B/L/D)

AM. Cerro Mesa Reserve (Santa Cruz)
Observe numerous endemic plants, 7 subspecies of Darwin’s finches, and the vermilion flycatcher. Impressive view of Baltra, Santiago, Isabela, Santa Fé, and Daphne Islands.

PM. Charles Darwin Research Station (Santa Cruz)
Observe the giant tortoises that are part of the reproduction programme and the world’s most famous tortoise, Lonesome George, the last surviving specimen of his species.

Day 17
SANTA CRUZ – DAPHNE - BALTRA - GUAYAQUIL – LONDON (B)

Volcanic tuff cone, formed by successive explosions produced by the mixture of lava and water. Observe Darwin’s finches, Blue-footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies, Red-billed Tropicbirds, Swallow-tailed Gulls, Brown Noddies.Then transfer to Baltra airport to board your flight to back home.
