Day 1
UK – SANTIAGO – CALAMA

Fly to Calama via Santiago.

Day 2
CALAMA – SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA (D)

On arrival you’ll be transferred to the village of San Pedro de Atacama. Spend the afternoon with your guide on a scenic drive to Salt Mountain and Valle de Marte (Chile’s Death Valley), and watch a spectacular sunset in the extraordinary landscape of Moon Valley. You’ll then be transferred to hotel Cumbres San Pedro de Atacama.

ATACAMA SALT FLAT – TOCONAO (B/D)

Enjoy a full-day excursion to the stunning salt flats of the Salar de Atacama—one of the highlights of day tours Chile has to offer. This is a good opportunity to spot some of the three species of flamingos nesting on Lake Chaxa. After visiting the picturesque town of Toconao, renowned for its classic bell tower, continue on to the village of Socaire and the altiplanic lagoons of Meñique and Miscanti. These vivid blue lakes, surrounded by volcanoes from the Andes mountain chain, offer spectacular views and are a must-see on any chile tour itinerary.

GEYSERS DEL TATIO – MOON VALLEY (B/D)

Early morning tour to the El Tatio geyser field; take a guided walk around the geothermal field, seeing the breathtaking sight of columns of steam rising from the ground as the sun rises over the Andes Mountains. The rest of the day is free for your own leisure. Then in the late afternoon we leave for the Moon Valley tour. The Salt Mountain Range, Moon Valley, has been declared a nature sanctuary and monument, and it's protected by the uniqueness of its beauty. Explore the area on foot with an interesting and insightful guide, ascending to the top of a vertiginous dune to watch one of the most spectacular sunsets you’ve ever witnessed.

DOMEYKO MOUNTAINS (B/D)

Today we go to the Domeyko mountains, where you can enjoy the desert landscape and a stunning view of the Andes. Our next tour in Chile is to the Rainbow Valley, named for its vibrant, multi-coloured hills that match the natural rainbow—a treasured sight and truly one of the best places to visit in Chile. Spend some time exploring the scenic valley, then continue on to Hierbas Buenas to discover its renowned petroglyphs – fascinating carvings in the volcanic rock formation, which recall the history of its ancient inhabitants.

CALAMA – PUERTO MONTT - PUERTO VARAS

After breakfast, transfer to Calama airport to board your flight to Puerto Montt via Santiago. Upon arrival, we transfer to the Cumbres hotel.

Day 7
CHILOE ISLAND (B)

After breakfast, we begin our Chile tours in Pargua, a small village from where we will catch a ferry to cross the Chacao Channel, which separates the mainland from the island of Chiloe. During our boat trip we can observe sea lions, pelicans and seabirds typical of this region. Our first stop will be Chacao, a small town where we can admire its typical larch wood buildings and also its church, which has been declared a national monument. Later on, we will visit Caul n Beach Resort, very famous for its oysters and its rich marine life. We continue our tour in Ancud, where we will get to know the Fort of San Antonio, a historic site that is part of the Spanish fortifications; its local museum, Plaza de Armas; and the Mercado Municipal, which offers a variety of dining options. Here we will take a boat ride to the Punihuil Islands, where we will see the Magellanic penguin and the Humboldt penguin sharing the same territory – this is one of the must-see places to visit in Chile, and a highlight of any penguin tour Chile offers.

OSORNO VOLCANO - PETROHUE WATERFALL (B)

Today, we visit the Petrohue Waterfalls and Osorno Volcano, two of the highlights of the Chilean Patagonia! We drive along the shore of Llanquihue Lake, passing through scenic spots such as La Poza, the German Club, a traditional watermill, cosy cabins, and more until we arrive in Ensenada—a picturesque town nestled between the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Our tours in Chile continue through Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where we reach one of the most spectacular natural spots in the area: the Petrohue Falls, a waterfall with emerald green waters overlooking the stunning Todos los Santos Lake. You can enjoy the magnificent views over the Lakelands and make this an unforgettable travel experience of your Chile tours.

PUERTO VARAS – PUERTO MONTT – PUERTO VARAS (B)

After breakfast, We will visit the cities of Puerto Montt, capital of the Los Lagos Region of Chile and Puerto Varas, tourist capital of the Lakes Region. During the day we will visit the main attractions of both cities, natural viewpoints like Calvario and Phillipi mountains from which we can get a great view of the city, the Lake Llanquihue and Chinquihue and Pelluco beach resorts.

PUERTO MONTT - PUNTA ARENAS (B)

Transfer to Puerto Montt airport in time for your flight south to Punta Arenas. On arrival, check in at Hotel Rey Don Felipe.

Day 11
PUNTA ARENAS – TORRES DEL PAINE (B/D)

After an early breakfast and transfer to Torres del Paine, one of the main highlights of the Chilean Patagonia region. Admire the mountains as they reflect in the turquoise lakes, creating a surreal-looking landscape. On arrival, check in at Hotel Las Torres. Explore the lodge’s facilities and meet the guides, who will introduce you to the excursions available for you the next day. This awesome experience is a key part of any well-planned Chile tour itinerary.

Day 12
TORRES DEL PAINE (B/D)

After breakfast today, follow your guides to discover the highlights of the national park. Gaze at the emblematic Paine Horns, Paine Towers, Sarmiento Lake, and more. Also, keep an eye out for llamas and guanacos that inhabit the area, as well as the flight of the mighty Andean condor.

SANTIAGO (B/D)

Our city tour begins with a rich cultural heritage that comes to life through iconic symbols of the city, including la Plaza de Armas (the main square), Santa Lucia Hill, La Moneda (the Government Palace), the Post Office and the Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral. This day tour in Santiago, Chile offers a perfect introduction to the capital’s history and charm.  Next, we head to Cerro San Cristobal, a tall hill rising nearly 1000 feet above the city, located inside the city's largest urban park. Standing atop the hill, you'll find a church as well as a stunning 72-foot tall statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Finally we will visit the Orient Sector, the most modern area of the city with its impressive high-rise buildings and classy boulevards. VALPARAISO (B/L)

After breakfast, we head for Valparaiso on the Pacific Coast; we will pass through the beautifully groomed vineyards of the Curacavi and Casablanca Valleys. Valparaiso, Spanish for "Paradise Valley", is a cultural hotspot that serves as one of the country's most important seaports. The entire city is recognised as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site for its intriguing cobblestone labyrinth of historic buildings and ancient funiculars along sloping hills. From the lookout point of "Mirador 21 de Mayo" you'll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour. Your guide will point out some of the more interesting sights and is an open book for any questions you may have. Next we will visit the garden city, Vina del Mar, Spanish for "Vineyard of the Sea". The most famous and most visited beach in the Central Coast has much to offer in this Chile tour itinerary. The city is rife with beautiful parks, gardens, and avenues scattered across miles of sparkling beaches. Discover the rich history of Easter Island on one of the most fascinating Chile Easter Island tours. This tour will take you to visit Ahu Akivi, Ahu Vinapu, Puna Pau Quarry, and Te Pahu Cavern. Ahu Akivi's 7-Moai platform faces the equinoctial rising sun, with each statue at a height of around 16 feet and a weight of around 18 tonnes. According to folklore, the seven statues represent the seven young explorers who left Hiva, a legendary Polynesian homeland, to do reconnaissance on the island after the spirit priest Haumaka made the first chief, Hotu Matu'a, aware of the island's existence.

EASTER ISLAND

Explore the beauty of Easter Island, one of the best places to go in Chile, including Anakena, with its mysterious archaeological structures and legendary white coral sand beach. Anakena is believed to be the landing site of the Polynesian chief Hotu Matu'a, who first settled the island. Discover Rano Raraku Volcano, where all the moai on the island were carved. Climb to the edge of the volcano’s crater to appreciate the small lake inside and the moai scattered about the inner slopes in various stages of construction.
