After breakfast we drive to Lake Nakuru,located in the Great Rift Valley 1750 meters above sea level, Lake Nakuru is known as an ornithological paradise by birdwatchers because The lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth which boasts any where between one and two million lesser and greater pink flamingos. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species Such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards, Giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. An afternoon game drive around the lakeshore will be the main feature for the afternoon, dinner & overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge – Nakuru.
After breakfast drive via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive with en route game drive to check in at Mara Sopa Lodge. Depart after breakfast and drive to the Serengeti National Park which together with Mara is famous for the spectacular annual animal migration. Arrive with en route game drive for check in Serena lodge. After lunch we leave for an afternoon game drive in the park. the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. Currently there are more than 3000 lions living in this ecosystem. Evening return to the lodge
After breakfast we depart and drive via Olduvai Gorge, a pre historic site. Proceed and descend to the crater floor for a half day in the Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunches. This protected area is located in the Great Rift Valley. The Crater actually is a gigantic fracture of the earth's crust. The magnificent landscape consists ofvolcanoes, mountains, plains, lakes, forests and archaeological sites. At 1600 meters altitude the bottom of the Crater (265 km square), dotted with watering holes, offers shelter to almost 30.000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. The Crater elephants are trangely, mainly bulls. There is a small number of black rhino. The bird life is largely seasonal and is also affected by the ratio of soda and fresh water on the Crater floor. You will also explore the wildlife: lions, elephants, zebra, hippo, buffalos, and rhino are just a few to be mentioned. After breakfast We proceed to Lake manyara park on the base of the great rift valley.This impressive park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
